Group Holiday Sales Advisor – Call Centre 

Location: Central Bournemouth

Position: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm

Salary: £25,500pa + target related bonuses

Group Holiday Sales Advisor Role

Daish’s welcomes over 400 groups each year which range from 16 people to the whole hotel. We are looking for a full-time Group Holiday Sales Advisor to join our small but busy team. 

Daish’s is shortlisted for awards in ‘Best Accommodation for Groups’ and ‘Best Coach or Tour Operator’ at the annual Group Travel Awards which we attend annually in London. We’re looking for someone to join us in delivering this high level of customer service. 

You’ll be predominately speaking to group organisers and helping them through the booking process from providing initial travel quotes to making bookings, updating rooming lists and working to provide a smooth and enjoyable booking and holiday experience. 

Group Sales Advisor – Duties

  • Dealing with Group Organisers to make new bookings
  • Managing existing bookings and updating booking information including rooming lists, pick-up information, coach and dining plans, group itineraries, special group requests
  • Liaising with hotel staff and the coaching team as required
  • Updating various systems to ensure smooth running of the groups department
  • Chasing overdue deposits and final balance
  • Checking in with group organisers after their stay for feedback, discussing any issues if applicable, offering a rebook for the group
  • Assist with Call Centre calls when lines are busy

Skills:

Any previous travel our tourism experience is welcome but certainly not essential as full training will be provided.

While we aim to provide a fun working environment, we are looking for people that are hardworking and self-motivated and have a willingness to learn new skills. 

You’ll be someone that works well in a team, has good communication skills, both written and verbal, and has a desire to deliver excellent customer service. 

You will need an eye for detail and a friendly manner to build relationships with our group organisers.

You’ll be provided with full training on our dedicated reservation system, however you should already have good computer skills.
