The Somerset Hotel:

We are looking for a punctual & reliable person to join our team at The Somerset Hotel. Your job is to provide exceptional customer service whilst performing your regular duties, as well as assisting fellow waiting staff. You must thrive in a fast paced environment, as the restaurant is based in a busy hotel open all year round. You can usually expect to work morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as per rota. Other duties include talking to guests to ensure they have a good experience, reporting any guest complaints or workplace issues to the Manager.

Skills & Qualities Required:

- Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team

- Has excellent customer service skills

- Friendly & approachable

- Upbeat & positive attitude

- Great communication & organisational skills

- Knowledge of allergens

- Must have a passion for working with the general public

 

Duties responsibilities:

- comply with restaurant procedures

- Informing guests of the day’s special

- Provide excellent customer service

- Taking orders from their tables

- Communicate with the kitchen staff to place orders

- Ensure any dietary requirements are met & the chefs are fully aware of them
