The Russell Hotel:

Bar staff are part of the entertainment we offer our guests and we are looking for a brand new person to add to our team at The Russell Hotel! While on duty you should strive to be polite and courteous at all times, and willing to assist our guests with our beverage offer. Patience and personality will help to enhance this role and being a member of this team should prove to be enjoyable experience for the right person. 

Main responsibilities:

• The main purpose of this Job is to provide a friendly and efficient service within the bar, dispensing orders accurately, with courtesy to the standard required according to current legislation.
• A working knowledge of products sold in bars and how to dispense them to the highest standards
• The Bar Assistant will work alongside and compliment other departments in the hotel such as the kitchen, reception and dining room.
• Responsible for restocking the Bar at the end of shift or as the Bar Manager directs
• Attend all Training Courses as notified by the Hotel Management
• Ensure our business is promoted at all possible times with up-selling of products at every opportunity.
• Ensuring equipment installed on the bar is left clean after your shift including floors, as shown in the Bar Cleaning Schedule or directed by the Bar Manager.
• To carry out any other reasonable requests as directed by the hotel management
